Sod Pod Seville
Sod Pods contain nutrient-enriched soil, fresh grass, and established roots. Every pod comes fresh from the farm delivered to your door in a tray containing (8) 3"x3" pods. Each pod covers a 1 square foot area.
Installation Process
Seville flourishes in shady areas and thrives in high temperatures and sunlight. Seville retains its dark color well into the fall months. In South Florida it tends to grow all year, seldom going into dormancy.
- Low growing
- Shade tolerant
- Easy to grow
- Low traffic tolerance
- Not drought tolerant
- Prone to thatching
(Dwarf cultivars such as Seville can thatch, this comes from over-fertilization and watering and is quite avoidable when following good maintenance protocols.)
Due to its perishability and sensitivity, all sod is sold without any guarantees expressed or implied of merchantability.
Sod is not weed-free and is susceptible to various insects and diseases. Sod can die almost as easily as any other living plant. For optimal performance from our sods, proper site preparation, and post-installation care are crucial. Adequate sunlight (trim trees) and proper irrigation are recommended along with pest and fertilizer treatments from a licensed professional.
